Poem 001
// After breathing this in, I invite you to comment your own title or reflection
Who are you when you’re in love?
Can you remain embodied, or do you morph?
Into someone ‘more lovable.’
What about when you experience shame?
Do you get louder, and speak over uncertainty?
Or go quiet, to look away.
Bless our human desire to feel radically chosen,
And the little ones who dream.
Let us preserve our righteousness.
Like the ones before who fueled their own fires,
And cultivated a life without certainty.
From bones and blood.
In this continuance,
May we find everything we ‘re looking for,
Within our own innocence.
Rhythmic and consistent,
Like an ammonite,
Infinite.
